Fast food has a terrible impact on the environment.
Fast food is all about disposable packaging and cutlery. From the wrappers and straws to the boxes and bags, packaging is everywhere! Styrofoam boxes take an unbelievable 900 years to breakdown in landfill!
Fast food encourages intensive production of meat. Quality is not often a priority and it’s all about productivity. This industrial livestock farming is highly polluting and not sustainable.
All these ready meals need transportation and distribution trucks delivering the ingredients which are not produced locally contribute to climate change.
Our advice: avoid fast food! Take your time, eat homemade or in local restaurants, with real plates and real cutlery, and with locally sourced ingredients. Easy! 😉
