Compost your organic waste

Did you know?

When waste is sent to landfill, solid waste is buried and does not receive oxygen, so it will produce methane by breaking down, which is very harmful for the environment.

A compost pile, on the other hand, because it is exposed to oxygen, either by turning it or through the use of worms and other living organisms, produces CO2 (carbon dioxide) instead of methane which is much better for the environment.

Also, after nine to twelve months, you get a free fertiliser for your garden and plant pots to keep them looking beautiful.

Think about all the organic waste from your kitchen or your garden that you could compost! Also think about all the eco products that you bought (bamboo toothbrush, etc) that are compostable. Time to compost! Easy!
