Make seed balls to grow plants easily

Make seed balls and throw them around to grow plants easily.

It is a fun activity to do with kids or even with friends! πŸ˜›

Seed balls can be tossed over fences into abandoned lots, or out the windows of cars onto median dividers and roadside wasteland. They can be left alongside parking lots, or in unused planters.

Ingredients:
2 parts potting soil
5 parts pottery clay mix
1-2 parts water
1-2 parts seeds of your choice

1) Mix the soil, clay and water. There should be no lumps.
2) Add the seeds. Keep kneading the dough until the seeds are well mixed in. Add more water if necessary.
3) Make small balls.
4) Dry them for 24-48h in a shady place.
5) Place them or throw them onto bare soil. No need to dig or water.

When the seeds begin to germinate, the ball breaks apart. The small pile of crumbles provides the start for the roots.

Just remember: if you want to do guerilla gardening and throw seed balls around, make sure to avoid invasive species and don’t disturb ecosystems with non-native species. πŸ˜‰
