Most wrapping paper is not recyclable

Not all wrapping paper is paper.

Most of it is actually plastic-based to make it more resistant. And that’s why it cannot be recycled!

Also, none of the following is recyclable: gift wrap that’s covered in Sellotape, gift wrap with gift tags on it or paper that contains foil or glitter.

But you can recycle your wrapping paper as long as it’s pure paper!

Why not trying another option and be creative? Try newspaper wrap, recycled and recyclable wrap or even reusable fabric wrap. 😉
