Did you know over 700 million plastic laundry jugs end up in landfills and oceans each year? Even if you recycle, there is a good chance it will be wasted…
We found a great eco-friendly alternative!
We are always looking for eco-friendly products and solutions, and we recently found Earth Breeze. So easy to use, you just take a sheet from the package and place it in your machine. It then dissolves in the water from the wash! Click here to try them.
But does it actually work?
It’s hard to find an eco-friendly laundry detergent that still offers a powerful clean. Putting Earth Breeze to the test, it worked perfectly, even with some very dirty clothes!
Compared to traditional leading brands found in supermarkets like Tide or Xtra, we could not see any difference: our clothes were perfectly clean and smelled so good! Really impressive for an eco-friendly product that uses gentle ingredients. We were really pleased to see how this little eco sheet does the job, while being kind to the planet.
Is it really better for the planet?
Saving so much plastic waste
Liquid laundry detergent come in plastic jugs that contribute to plastic waste. And also, because they are liquid, they are a lot heavier, and therefore contribute to higher transport emissions!
The plastic industry is fuelled by the oil and gas industry. They have invested millions of dollars to convince us that plastic recycling works. FALSE. Plastic can only be reused 2 times at most. Only 9% is recycled, 79% ends up in landfills and 12% ends up incinerated. Don’t fall for it!
The Eco Sheets, on the other side, have gentle ingredients for sensitive skin, they work in HE machines, and they easily dissolve in hot or cold water. These eco sheets do everything you could ask for, and they help stop so much plastic waste. Even the packaging is biodegradable and they ship without plastic!
On top of this, they are Paraben free, Vegan, Hypoallergenic, Phthalate free, Phosphate free, Bleach & Dye free! These are a great sustainable alternative to the traditional liquid detergent. Click here to try them out.
What about shipping and packaging?
Earth Breeze ship all the orders with zero plastic, in a recyclable kraft mailer and all packaging is biodegradable cardboard and ink. It’s very light compared to a traditional jug of liquid detergent, so the transportation footprint is a lot smaller. It takes between one and three days to ship in the USA.
Who is behind Earth Breeze?
This is a company that truly cares. Earth Breeze donates a portion of all revenue to non-profits focused on conservation, offsets their entire businesses’ carbon emissions, and is vegan plus cruelty-free.
It’s not often we take time to write about a brand, but we are impressed by how high Earth Breeze sets the bar. It seems that Earth Breeze is living up to their mission with everything they do. Repair, Regenerate, and Redistribute.
Recently their warehouse nearly burnt down in Oregon and they donated over 100,000 loads of laundry to victims of the fires. They organized a tree planting of over 200 trees in Colombia. And this is only a small portion of the hundreds of trees they already planted!
Do we recommend it?
In short, YES. We switched to Earth Breeze and we are so happy about it. It is truly eco-friendly, it cleans well and gives a nice smell to our clothes. The light packaging is so practical. We would not be able to go back to old school detergent! Check them out!

Is there a way to get a sample? We have spring water. Our wash only uses cold water. I would like to see how well it works. I also have a daughter who is allergic to a lot of stuff, so it would have to pass ourreaction test too. Thank You.
Hi, for a sample you would need to contact Earth Breeze directly.
Their products are Hypoallergenic For Sensitive Skin, but you should definitely try it first especially if your daughter is allergic 😉
I would get in touch with Earth Breeze saying you read about our article and ask them more info, I’m sure they will come back to you with more info.
