The biggest UK solar plant has been given the go-ahead. 🔆
It will stretch over 900 acres on the North Kent Coast, and will provide electricity for 91,000 homes.
The project could even include one of the world-s largest energy storage systems.
However, environmental groups are divided. Some think this could harm local wildlife and industrialise the countryside, while others say it is better to have this rather than intensive farming on the land.
What do you think?
Remember, you can already switch to renewable energy providers for your electricity!
In the UK, these include Bulb or Tonik, but there are many more, and it’s not more expensive than “regular electricity”.
