Today is World’s Environment day!
It is hosted by Colombia, and this year theme is biodiversity.
What is biodiversity and why it matters?
Biodiversity is the variety of life on Earth, including the 8 million plant and animal species on the planet, the ecosystems and the genetic diversity among them.
Biodiversity is a complex, interdependent web, in which each member plays an essential role.
Biodiversity contributes to the food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink and the weather that makes our planet habitable.
Without nature, life on Earth would not be possible.
Together we can act #fornature!
Today, let’s all together reimagine our relationship with nature put nature at the heart of our decision-making.
